Employer Branding

The next project I’d like to showcase is an Employer Branding initiative, a strategic project designed to enhance the attractiveness and reputation of a company as an employer of choice. This comprehensive endeavor involved developing a unique employer value proposition (EVP), creating engaging content for various communication channels, and implementing targeted recruitment campaigns to showcase the company’s culture, values, and benefits to potential employees.

The core objective of this project was to differentiate the company in a competitive job market, making it stand out not just for its products or services, but as a desirable place to work. By highlighting the company’s commitment to employee development, diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance, the Employer Branding project aimed to attract top talent aligned with the company’s ethos and long-term goals.

This initiative also included internal branding efforts to boost employee engagement and satisfaction. Through internal surveys, workshops, and feedback mechanisms, we were able to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and foster a strong sense of community and belonging among current employees.

Schindler - The Employer

Delving into an impactful Employer Branding project, I focused on enhancing Schindler’s appeal as a premier workplace. This multifaceted initiative was aimed at elevating the company’s profile among potential and current employees through strategic communication and engagement activities.

Key activities included:

  • Launching a dedicated microsite for employer branding, serving as a central hub for Schindler’s value proposition to prospective employees.
  • Redesigning job advertisements to better reflect the company’s culture and appeal to ideal candidates.
  • Utilizing outdoor communication to broaden the reach and impact of our employer brand in the public space.
  • Publishing a regular newsletter focused on digitalization, keeping employees informed and engaged with the company’s tech advancements.
  • Producing an internal company magazine to celebrate achievements, share stories, and foster a sense of community.
  • Establishing partnerships with schools to build a pipeline of future talent and enhance Schindler’s visibility among young professionals.
  • Creating a welcome package for new hires, ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Initiating a campaign to encourage the sharing of ideas, promoting innovation and collaboration within the company.
  • Implementing the Employer Brand Ambassador Programme, leveraging our employees’ networks to amplify our brand.
  • Organizing standout events like Technology Day and the World Cup Event to boost engagement and showcase Schindler’s dynamic work environment.
  • Developing an Activity Room as a space for relaxation and creativity, enhancing the overall employee experience.

This Employer Branding project at Schindler was not just about attracting talent but also about creating a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative culture where employees feel valued and motivated.

This project is an ongoing journey towards building a stronger, more cohesive brand identity from the inside out. It’s about creating a workplace where people are not only proud to belong but are also ambassadors of the company culture and values in their professional networks. If you’re passionate about creating meaningful work environments and want to join forces in developing and promoting a positive employer brand, I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
